Structural Mechanics

Our field of work involves computer simulations with the finite element method. With the aim of designing and optimizing new structural components – from a simple clip of a pen, a exhaust gas heat exchanger, or a radiator of a motor vehicle to the overall simulation of a dirigible. The elements of complex components shall be loaded  and, with the help of linear and non-linear statical, dynamical, and thermal analyses, their response verified.

We verify existent products on the basis of their structural loading profile and their design and make their structural safety visible. You receive recommendations for the optimization of eventually found weak points. Moreover, we assist our clients in critical reflections of actual assumptions and approaches of the simulations.

Another focus of our activities is the creation of models for finite element method and computer fluid dynamics simulations. These are generated from CAD files provided from you as client. The result of this work is a FE mesh or a model ready to simulate.
